Digital storytelling
how did i get here?
my journey

My story starts from journalism.
I took my first journalism course with Professor Hank Klibanoff in my senior year of college.

a veteran journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author
I was inspired by the discussions around the complexity and sensitivity of journalism's ethical and moral standards.
Using the foundations of traditional journalism ethical studies,
I set on a personal quest to understand how technological advancements will change and evolve the future of journalism ethical standards.
I gained my first investigative journalism experience at WSB-TV, Atlanta's local broadcast station.

A story that gained national spotlight:
the Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal (no audio)

Interview with Delta Airlines president & employees (play with audio!)
In 2015, I was the Marketing & Social Media Assistant for the
Korea Broadcasting System's World Marketing team.

I helped manage the broadcast and music production efforts for the 2015 Asia Song Festival held in Busan, South Korea.
I then went off to Stanford to receive my
Master's in Computational Journalism.
I jumped into the world of multimedia storytelling and data-driven journalism.
And never looked back.

I used computational and design thinking processes to produce highly-interactive and engaging stories.

I had the opportunity to experiment with various digital mediums & tools.

I reported on stories surrounding local to national public affairs stories.

Then, I went off to help launch the new Google News product.
Now, I'm in search for the
next big bang opportunity!
